The Founder

Bruno Alves.

Black Belt 4th Degree under Zé Radiola of the ZR Team. Bruno dedicated his life to competing at the highest level winning multiple World Championships at middleweight, including the European, Pan American, South American, and Mundial titles.

In 2016 he moved to Sydney with a simple idea: teach the best Jiu-Jitsu to as many people as possible. What started as classes in Manly has grown into the fastest-growing martial arts school in Australia, with gyms from Brisbane to Melbourne.

Crows Nest became HQ. One of the biggest martial arts gyms in the country and the heart of the SJJA methodology.
