Founded in 2016 by Bruno Alves, our HQ is one of the largest and most respected Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academies in the country with programs for every age, every level, every day of the week.

Kids (3–15)

Confidence, discipline, anti-bullying skills. Our “Little Diamonds” program has produced national and Pan Pacific champions and a lot of happy, grounded kids.

Adults all levels

Beginners through to competition. Bruno’s structured curriculum ensures technical growth whether you train twice a week or twice a day.

Bruno Almeida Alves is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt 4th degree under Zé Radiola (ZR Team) and a multiple-time World Champion European, Pan American, South American, and Mundial at middleweight.

In 2016 he brought his vision of teaching world-class Jiu-Jitsu to as many people as possible to Sydney. Crows Nest became HQ. Today it’s one of the largest martial arts gyms in Australia and the heart of the SJJA methodology.

In 2011, Bruno moved to Sydney with a vision: to teach the best Jiu-Jitsu to as many people as possible. Today SJJA is Australia’s fastest-growing martial arts school.
